Health Data Associate


The Health Data Associate will work closely with the Client Operations Lead and our Internal Data Engineering team to improve turnaround time on health record requests, validate and QA software solutions to health record data processing.

This role comes with a lot of ownership, and the successful person will have an opportunity to shape our internal tools and processes. An analytical mind and great written and verbal communication skills are key for success in this role!

Our ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience working with data, QA or a related field, and are interested in both technology and health care. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt while staying organized, and high attention to detail.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Working knowledge of SQL

Things you'll be doing

  • Work closely with the Internal Data Engineering team to test and refine parsing tools
  • Provide recommendations to the engineering team on further improvements and opportunities for automation and product evolution
  • Develop and execute on testing strategies, plans and scenarios, including creating bug reports, testing on releases and reporting on test results
  • Efficiently document test cases for later use when features are deployed
  • Manage incoming health records via fax, mail, and our secure portal, including parsing records into a useful format
  • Identify opportunities to further reduce turnaround time for record request and report to the client operations team
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal policy/ procedure manuals and training guides
