Why we do what we do

The healthcare industry operates blind. With little to no access to digital health history, patients and providers are often left in the dark resulting in poorer outcomes for millions across Canada. The industry has resisted technological advancement, while the financial and retail worlds have weaved in technology in their existing processes, health data is still exchanged using fax machines and paper mail.

Dot Health has arrived on the scene to put the legacy of inefficiency, fragmentation and frustration behind us and put forth a bold new vision of how health care data should work for people in Canada. We help individuals and their health care providers gather vital personal health information all in one place. Faster. Cheaper. Securely.

We also believe that understanding health information is just as important as having easy access to it. For individuals, we do this through beautiful visualizations and contextual explanations of medical jargon. For providers, we understand the need to be able to view trends at a glance and prioritize relevant information first. With the help of thoughtful, contextual presentation, Dot Health helps everyone in the healthcare community make the most informed decisions.

We've assembled a team of people that are resilient, forward-thinking, and unafraid to challenge this status quo. Centralizing people's health information in one place is challenging. We’re looking to work with someone who not only believes in the work that we do, but also exhibits the tenacity, precision, and focus to build the best digital health platform. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, keep reading!
