Huda Idrees

Founder + CEO

Huda is the Founder and CEO of Dot Health, a real-time personal health data platform. With a background in engineering from the University of Toronto and a prolific career at some of Toronto's best known startups including Wattpad, Wave, and Wealthsimple, her latest venture is transforming the way people access and control their own health information for good. Huda's work has been featured in The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Metro News, CNBC, and Metro Morning. She has been recognized amongst the Top 5 CEOs in Toronto Life, a Top 25 Women of Influence in 2017, and named Top 30 under 30 by the Bay Street Bull in 2018. Huda serves on the Business Innovation and Development committee at Sinai Health System and on the Canadian Federal Economic Strategy Table for Health and Biosciences.

Stewart Aguanno

Chief Revenue Officer

Stewart Aguanno is the Chief Revenue Officer at Dot Health, a health data platform that allows Canadians to access their own health records. He is passionate about building experiences that truly engage the end user, focusing specifically on proactive and preventative healthcare. Stewart has successfully brought products to market in both Canada and the United States that have disrupted the healthcare landscape.  His love for process and scrappy hard-working teams drives his passion for technology that enables people to better access and take control of their health. Stewart’s experience prior to this involves participating in several early stage startups; building the models, process and teams behind the companies go to market revenue engines.

Dr. Shaun Mehta

Medical Resident

Shaun Mehta, also known as Dot Health’s “Dr. M” is a fourth-year resident physician in emergency medicine at the University of Toronto. At Dot, Shaun actively combines his medical expertise and his interests in health quality improvement through EMS systems to solve challenges in healthcare accessibility. He will be completing a Master of Laws at the University ofToronto (GPLLM 2019), concentrating on the law of technology to navigate legal barriers in implementing new devices, applications and computer systems. He is also actively involved in medical education, teaching medical students and publishing FOAMed (Free Open Access Medical Education).
